Overview

Mrs Semper’s kitchen in Newton Abbot was ready for a refresh. Originally, layout worked well, but the dated finishes no longer matched the contemporary, welcoming style she wanted. Rather than going through the disruption and expense of a full full refit, she chose Quartzize for a complete kitchen before-and-after refresh — keeping her existing units while upgrading the visible surfaces.

What Changed

• Worktops: Installed Carrara Gold Quartz overlay worktops directly over the existing counters. With a bright white base and subtle golden veining, they bring light, warmth, and a timeless marble-inspired finish.
• Cabinet Doors: Replaced with La Moda style doors in Natural Kendal Oak . This contemporary woodgrain design added a sense of natural texture and depth, perfectly complementing the quartz.
• Island Build: the team designed and built a matching island unit to expand both storage and seating options, creating a functional centrepiece for family life.
