CNC Machine Operator

Quartzize Worktops Ltd is continuing to grow, and we are now looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our busy warehouse and manufacturing team in Skewen.

This is a hands-on role within our worktop production environment, helping prepare and process materials used in our kitchen makeover and quartz overlay worktop installations. You’ll be part of a practical, hardworking team that plays an important role in keeping our national operation moving smoothly.

About the Job

As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our manufacturing area by helping operate CNC machinery and assisting with the preparation, movement and processing of worktop materials.

The role would suit someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable working in a busy production or warehouse environment. Previous experience operating CNC machinery, working in manufacturing, or handling large-format materials would be helpful, although full training and support may be provided for the right person.

This is an on-site role based at our Skewen manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

  • Operating CNC machinery as part of the worktop production process
  • Preparing materials ready for cutting, machining or finishing
  • Loading, unloading and moving materials safely within the warehouse
  • Checking measurements, materials and work instructions carefully
  • Supporting the wider production and warehouse team
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
  • Following company procedures and health and safety guidance
  • Helping ensure worktop materials are prepared accurately and efficiently

About You

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, practical and willing to take pride in their work.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing or warehouse role
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and work with accuracy
  • Confident working as part of a team
  • Health and safety conscious
  • Organised and tidy in the workplace
  • Previous CNC, manufacturing, production, warehouse or machine-operating experience would be an advantage

Full-time, employed position.
